Course Description

Over 43 hours of Dr. Norman Geisler's lectures addressing Christian Theology & Doctrine. The Bible; From God to us. Apologetics - Defending the Christian faith. Plus 12 bonus lectures answering many of today's questions about knowing God, whether all religions lead to God and if there is a God why is there evil and more.

The objective of this course is to help you grow in your faith, provide you a deeper understanding of your faith,  and provide knowledge to defend the Christian faith.

Theology/Doctrine Track:  7.5 Hours

In this section, Dr Norman Geisler deals with the historical Christian Church's essential doctrines in a most thorough way Covering God's Unity, God's Tri-unity, Christ's deity, Christ's humanity, Human depravity, Christ's virgin birth, Christ's sinlessness, Christ's atoning death, Christ's bodily resurrection,  The necessity of grace, the necessity of faith, Christ's bodily ascension, Christian priestly intercession, Christ's bodily resurrection.

Apologetics Track: 13.5 Hours

In this section Dr. Norman Geisler covers the defense (apologia) of the Christian Faith in a 12 point synopsis  Theses include: Truth about Reality is Knowable, The Opposites of True is False, It is True That a that a Theistic God Exists, If God Exists then Miracles are Possible, Miracles Confirms a Message from God , The New Testament is Historically Reliable , The New Testament states Jesus Claimed to be God, Jesus' Claim to be God was Miraculously Confirmed, Jesus is God, Whatever Jesus Teaches is True, Jesus Taught that the Bible is the Word of God, It is True that the Bible is the Word of God

Dr. Norman Geisler

The late Dr. Norman Geisler is known as the premiere apologist of the 20th century. He developed a three-tiered model that integrates apologetics, philosophy, and theology, and over a more than 60-year career in ministry he mentored and discipled many of today's top Christian leaders.

Dr. Norman Geisler is the author of The 12 Points That Prove Christianity Is True and over a hundred other books that have impacted the foundations of modern Christianity. In practical terms, Dr. Geisler was the first to see the value of using a classic two-step apologetic approach, as opposed to a purely evidentiary approach, to witness to a postmodern generation.

As a prominent member of the International Council on Biblical Inerrancy, his influence was crucial in building a foundation on which the church stood through the writing of the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy. He founded the International Society of Christian Apologetics and co-founded two seminaries: Southern Evangelical Seminary and Veritas Evangelical Seminary, now called Veritas International University. In 2015, Dr. Norman Geisler and his son David co-founded Norm Geisler International Ministries, and in 2018 they launched the ministry's discipleship arm, the Norm Geisler Institute.

Dr. Norman Geisler earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Wheaton College, a Master of Theology from Wheaton Graduate School, a Th.B. from William Tyndale College and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Loyola University.
