Conversational Evangelism 2.0
Course Description:
Every week we will ask for difficulties you are facing in witnessing to others. In addition, we also deal with a popular objection to the Christian Faith by a skeptic either in an article, book, or other media, and talk about how you might remove that barrier to the Gospel. Further, we will suggest some additional ways to answer common questions like the problem of evil, the doctrine of hell, or God’s existence using a conversational evangelism approach. Most importantly, we will try to find creative and winsome ways to answer these objections, whether they are old or new.
Take Aways:
You will come away from this workshop having practiced a new paradigm -- one based on finding out people’s interest and drawing a tie between their interest and the Gospel message.
You will also go away with a better understanding of how and when you should use Christian evidence to strengthen your witness to others.
Our prayer at NGIM is that you would develop a strong and daily habit of looking for divine appointments with people to plant the seeds of the Gospel, combining everything you learn in this coaching class to more effectively remove barriers to the Gospel in creative and spirit-guided ways.
Requirements:
Must have read Conversational Evangelism or taken the Conversational Evangelism workshop (self-paced or mentor-led) in Thinkific before the C.E. 2.0 workshop starts. We will not be enforcing this, however it will be difficult to find your footing in the workshop if you are not already familiar with C.E.
We recommend you at least familiarize yourself with The 12 Points that Show Christianity is True. You can find the book here, the workshop here, or a free overview of it here.
Details:
The workshop will be every Wednesday for 5 weeks starting on October 12th and ending on November 9th. The U.S. workshop will be at 9:00pm EST and the Filipino workshop will be at 9:00pm PHT (which is 9:00am EST). Each session will be about an hour and each will be recorded in case you miss a day.
